Annabella
After successfully completing hotel management school in Zell am Ziller, I gained my first professional experience in other businesses. I have been running the Almhof Lackner since 2003 and took it over completely from my parents in 2009. My main focus is on service and looking after our guests, as personal contact is particularly important to me.
The most important things in life for me are family, health, joy and a little happiness. To recharge my batteries, I like to take time out in our beautiful natural surroundings. My favorite place is Lake Zirein in the Rofan mountains. This idyllic place is often referred to as "the blue eye of Tyrol".
Andreas
Born in Schwaz in 1979, I ran my parents' photo studio for a few years after completing my apprenticeship as a photographer and later discovered my love and passion for the hotel industry through my wife Annabella. I have been in charge of the kitchen at Almhof Lackner since 2013 and look forward to spoiling our guests with culinary delights. As the "man of the house", I also take care of the garden design and house maintenance.
In my free time, I enjoy motorcycling in our beautiful countryside or going to the gym. I also put my heart and soul into supporting charity projects for children, such as the Children's Cancer Aid, Make-A-Wish-Foundation, etc.
As you walk through our hotel, you will notice numerous wood carvings and sculptures. These artistic works were created by our senior manager Hermann Wildauer. He learned the necessary skills himself and perfected his craft with two master sculptors in Val Gardena (South Tyrol) in 1976.
The highlights of his works in the hotel include:
The high point of his work as a carver and sculptor was undoubtedly in 1983, when, on behalf of the province of Tyrol a crib carved by him was presented to Pope John Paul ll.
